Psionic
Psionics are masters of mind. Their magic comes from understanding of mind
and its inner working. The more they increase power of their mind, the less
focus they give to their body, which is usually incredibly fragile. However,
this fact is not a problem for most psionics, as they are able to use their
mental powers to prevent physical damage completely, usually surviving battle
physically intact. Psoinics are exceptionally dependent on mental powers, being
next to useless against creatures who cannot be influenced mentally. Only way
how psionic can deal with such beings is to manifest power of their mind in
some physical way, usually through usage of their telekinetic powers.
Psionics are naturally resistant to curses, hexes and any other forms of
negative enchantments. They have an extra -5 bonus to saving enchant.
This bonus is applied after all other effects, going potentially beyond
normal savings cap.

While many psionics are content with blasting their enemies with mind shock
and harvesting the resulting mana to help their group, some tried to improve
their damage dealing abilities. It turns out that there is a new spell,
rend soul, that not only does damage but opens the enemy to older forms
of mental assault. Interestingly enough, all the original psionic spells can
take great advantage of this opening. The spells actually form three groups,
soul, spirit and mind. The spells in the same group empower each other even
more. In addition to that the psionic learns how to cast those spells in more
powerful ways and generally become a force to be reckoned with.
