Nightblade




Nightblades are thieves, who follow the way of magic. Their magic is dark.
They use they magic to make you more sick, than you even think you will be.
You even don't imagine what evil they can do to you. Their usual tactics is
cast some spells and than (if you don't die during spelling) touch you and
then you will be dead ... such simple. They have some basic fighting
ability, because they have origin in thieves, but they don't need use such
crap skills. They fight a bit same way as assassins ... well but there
is something different ... assassins will kill you fast and usually without
pain, when nightblade kill you, you die slow and very painful. In fact
nightblades are not interested in winning the fight. Their greatest pleasure
is to see enemy lose. It does mean that nightblade wins, but that's just
an uninteresting side effect.

Nightblades are naturally resistant to curses, hexes and any other forms of
negative enchantments. They had an extra -5 bonus to saving enchant.
This bonus is applied after all other effects, going potentially beyond
normal savings cap.

Master of Shadows

Nightblades are most powerful during the night. But any shadow will do, really. True, night is still the best but she can wrap herself in shadows so when her spells attract unwanted attention the enemy is hard-pressed to recognize her among all the shadows. She can create multiple shadows of herself with various abilities that assist her in combat. And then the enemy tries to strike her and hits one of her shadows instead, the shadow retaliates back. She can even manipulate the shadows in a way that emulate casting a spell, even places where magic is normally impossible. The most powerful nightblades even shed the limit of the natural night and can create night when needed or simply carry it with them in the form of a permanent shadow.

Call of Eternity

Nightblade is not about winning. Nightblade only cares that the opponent loses. And while no one likes losing, nightblade makes every effort to make this option attractive to the enemy. After all, isn\'t afterlife sweet? Paradise calls. All that is needed is to give up, ascend the stairway to heaven and escape from this mortal coil. Nightblade can imbue her spells with powerful suggestions in this sense, lowering enemy\'s guard and making them more suspeptible to finishing effects of the new spells.
