Power of mind is great, just go and ask some psionic. And nightblades learn to utilize this power as well. Not in that many ways as psionics, but they know how to make use of victim\'s fears and phobias, which is enough for them. Nightmare spell is one of such use. The stronger link you have to your victim, the more damage you can inflict, and if you can obscure victims perception of reality, e.g. by veil of darkness, the damage inflicted by nightmare spell is even greater.
