Monk
Monks are clerics who decided to serve their Gods in battle. For this they
learn various fighting styles, of either offensive or defensive nature. Their
styles are not as powerful as those of shaolins, but they have tight connection
to their God which provide them with great assistance. Monks have great faith,
one would even say they are fanatically devoted to their God. But their faith
enables them to withstand beating otherwise unsustainable. And they are still
clerics, so they have significant healing powers. Not as powerful as priests
or even druids, but it is enough for them to spread word of their God far and
wide.
Monks have inherent resistance to magical damage, equivalent
to a -5 bonus to saving spell. This bonus is applied after all other effects,
possibly beyond maximum saving cap.

Legendary Skills
Monks are often relied upon by their friends to soak up some of the damage received
by the group\'s tank. As monk gains better understanding of her spiritual link, she
can deal with the transferred damage more effectively. She can also extend this link
over the whole group, obviously not with such strengh as direct link but it certainly
increases the group\'s resilience.
Monks are guided by their faith. They can lean into their faith to such a degree that
it becomes a tangible force. They can use their faith to empower their attacks. Each
time they hit their opponent with some of their combat skills they trigger a lingering
effect and when they accumulate enough of those, they can explosively release for
an additional damage. Eventually they even manage to manifest their faith long-term
in a form of a fighting staff which they can use in a new fighting style. And this
manifested faith opens up wholly new avenues of combat, allowing them to channel
their faith into heat or chill.
Scary monk? Hard to imagine right? But for the wicked there is no place to hide, once
zealots have started to emerge. They use their faith, their fanatical believes to punishment
all who they consider wicked. Ano who are those wicked being? Anything evil, anything, that
was supposed to be dead, but its not dead... meaning undeads. They are their mortal enemies
and zealots do not care about themselves, not even about their groups as long as they get
the job done. Are you up for the job and become legendary wicked slayer?
Monks took plenty of time part in heroic battles. Great battlefields, great crusades and
strong foes! Battle medics were the ones standing at the front line and during the hardest
and the longest battles they were keeping their brothers in arm alive. Healing him and bleeding
with them. In such battles they endured great pain, but did not mind. They have used their
faith to create protective barriers, to keep their back and support line out of harm ways.
They were singing to boost morale, and with the power of gods they healed anyone injured.
They used their strength to increase their own healing power instead of doing harm to enemy.
With such actions, they earned their place even among other healers such as priests.
