Monks long relied on the power of their faith to guide both their steps and their strikes. But for some, faith became much more. Their faith became main guiding principle of their life, replacing even such concepts like fatigue, hunger, injury or thirst. They can focus their faith in ways so far unthinkable, it is said that their faith is so powerful it can even manifest physically. Whenever a monk empowered by faith scores a hit with a combat skill, it hurts significantly more than from other monks. Specifically, this skill increases damage from combat skills by 50%.

Faith Guides Me

As monk starts to rely on her faith more and more she eventually develops kind of another sense that allows her to aim her strikes even better. Eventually monk realizes that it is her faith that is guiding her and she increases damage of her combat skills by additional 20%.

Faithful Heel

A monk who uses her faith to guide her movements in combat eventually develops new type of strike. She can change her kick into a powerful strike that lands her heel right in the opponent's exposed spot. The surge of faith accompanying successfull hit by this special attack temporarily increases number of attacks monk can do in a round.

Improved Faithful Heel

As monk's faith grows stronger, so does the power of her faithful heel. Every time she plants her heel on the enemy she does 33% more damage.

Extended Faithful Heel

With increasing power of monk's faith, the duration of the surge from faithful heel increases to twice the previous duration.

Enhanced Faithful Heel

Monk puts more and more faith in her heel attack and therefore increases damage dealt by this special attack by another 50%.

As monk puts her faith firmly into each kick with her heel, she feels even more powerful surge of faith with each successful hit, further doubling duration of the surge.

Faithful Palm

Monk fights with her whole body but she can perform some of her most devastating hits with her hands. As she focuses on her faith, she can channel it through her hands and deceptively gentle touch of her palm actually causes devastating damage. Not only does her faithful palm cause damage but it also causes temporary surge of faith that increases number of attacks she can do in a round.

Monk's touch still looks gentle but she can now channel even more of her faith into her palm and therefore deal 33% more damage.

Extended Faithful Palm

When monk focuses her faith into her palm to deal damage, the accompanying surge of faith she feels now last longer. Specifically, the duration of this surge is doubled.

As monk learns to focus her faith in her palms even better, she doesn't loose the gentleness of her touch at all. But that doesn't mean she can't cause greater damage, she can and she will. To be exact, she can now deal 50% more damage with her palm.

Advanced Faithful Palm

Monk can now put her faith firmly into the palm of her hand when she chooses to. When she hits with this special attack, the duration of accompanying surge of faith is doubled.

Sustaining Faith

Monk's faith has now become one of the cornerstones of her being. Her faith provides her enough sustenance that she no longer needs to eat or drink.

Faith Governs My Strikes

Monk increasingly relies on her faith during combat. Whenever she experiences the surge of faith from Faithful Heel, her faith governs her further attacks in such a way to hit the most vulnerable spots the enemy has, effectively reducing effect of enemy resistance to her attacks. Enemy's resistance itself is not reduced as such, only effect of this resistance as it is applied to monk's attacks is reduced. The resistance is reduced by 45 points on average but for very high resistance values (700+) the effect is progressively smaller and completely vanishes if enemy is totally immune to monk's attack. If enemy has no resistance, its resistance can't be reduced any further, of course. These caveats apply for all upgrades, too.

Improved Faith Governs My Strikes

As long as monk feels surge of faith from Faithful Heel she lets her faith govern her strikes even more often. Resistance against her attacks is now reduced by 75 points on average.

Extended Faith Governs My Strikes

Monk now uses her faith to govern her strikes even more, reducing effectiveness of enemy's resistance value by 115, as long as she feels the surge of faith from Faithful Heel.

Enhanced Faith Governs My Strikes

Surge of faith from Faithful Heel now allows the monk to let her faith to govern her attacks to such an extent that enemy resistance effectiveness is reduced by 150 points on average.

Advanced Faith Governs My Strikes

When the monk is experiencing surge of faith from Faithful Heel she now lets her faith to govern her strikes completely and her attacks now feel enemy resistance as 200 points lower than it actually is.

Faith Leads My Hand

Faith leads monk's hand ever more. With this skill her faith provides such a good guidance that the monk can avoid opponent's attempt to parry or to block incoming attack with shield. Faith provides this clarity of guidance only if monk is currently experiencing surge of faith from Faithful Palm. Faith can lead monk's hand only so far, this skill on average avoids about one in six parries or shield blocks.

Monk relies on her faith to lead her hand to deliver her attacks and at this level she can now avoid about one in five parry or shield block attempts.

Extended Faith Leads My Hand

Faith is monk's main guiding principle now and it can lead her hand during attack to avoid about one in three parry or shield block attempts.

Enhanced Faith Leads My Hand

Monk now lets her faith lead her hand so often that she can avoid about a half of parry or shield block attempts with her attacks, as long as she is under effect of surge of faith from Faithful Palm.

Faithful Finger

Faithful Palm attack can be used to break bones or crush armor but sometimes it makes more sense to just pierce through narrow opening. With Faithful Finger monk learns to focus her faith at the tip of single finger, giving it piercing power of a swordpoint. Furthermore, each successful hit with this special attack causes a temporary surge of faith that increases damage of all monk's attacks by 5%.

Improved Faithful Finger

The monk can now focus her faith at the tip of her finger into even sharper point, increasing damage of this special attack by 33%.

As monk learns to better focus her faith, the duration of surge of faith from successfull hit by this special attack doubles.

Faithful Toe

With Faithful Heel monks can crush armor and break through thick skin but bludgeoning through enemy defenses is not always the best course of action. Sometimes it makes more sense to pierce through single spot. Monks of course realized that and they developed another kicking technique. Instead of heavy impact of a heel they put power of their whole body and, more importantly, their faith into one toe and penetrate one spot in opponent's defenses. Not only does this special attack cause much pain to the enemy but it also triggers temporary surge of faith that increases damage of all monk's attacks by 10%.

When using this special kick, monk can now focus her faith even sharper, increasing damage dealt by 33%.

When monk successfully hits with this special attack, the duration of resulting surge of faith is now doubled.

Faith Controls My Strikes

Monk can now use the surge of faith triggered by successful hit by Faithful Toe skill to let her faith to control her strikes in such a way that damage from her melee attacks is less reduced by enemy's armor. Each melee attack suffers reduction by armor as if the armor value was 75 points lower.

Improved Faith Controls My Strikes

Monk now lets her faith control her strikes to a higher degree. While she is experiencing surge of faith from Faithful Toe her melee attacks suffer damage reduction by enemy armor as if it was 150 points lower.

Extended Faith Controls My Strikes

Monk now relies on her faith to control her strikes even more. Her melee attacks influenced by surge of faith from Faithful Toe suffer damage reduction by enemy armor as if it was 225 points lower.

Monk's faith is now powerful enough that she cedes control of her strikes to it even further while under effect of surge of faith from Faithful Toe. Her melee attacks now suffer damage reduction from enemy armor as if it was 350 points lower.

Monk is now able to let her faith take full control of his attacks when she is experiencing surge of faith from Faithful Toe. This changes her melee attacks in such a way so the damage reduction from enemy armor works as if the armor was 500 points lower than it actually is.

Faith Drives My Hand

When monk attacks while under effect of surge of faith from Faithful Finger her faith drives her attacks in such a way that she can anticipate opponent's movements and can hit the opponents even when they would normally be able to dodge the attack once in six dodge attempts on average. Her faith also allows her to hit monsters that blink out before attack, the same way as with dodge.

Monk's attacks are now driven by her faith to such a degree that she can avoid about one in five dodge attempts on average, as long as she is under the effect of surge of faith from Faithful Finger.

Whirling Faith

Monk now uses her faith as her main guiding principle in combat. This gives her access to completely new fighting style based on faith. In this style the monk seems to spin and jump around randomly and occasionally strikes with her hand or feet but all those movements are actually extremely precise, guided with crystal clarity by her unshakeable faith. Interesting feature of this style is that most attacks do not actually physically touch the opponent but use power of monk's faith that extends a tiny fraction of an inch out of monk's body as almost imperceptible blade that slices through enemy's defenses. Therefore attacks from this style are considered magic as with magic weapon. This style doesn't have that many attacks but each of them counts. As this style focuses on attack, it doesn't offer much in the way of defense. On the other hand, this style also speeds up monk's combat skills a bit, making it easier to keep all her surges of faith active. Improved Whirling Faith

As monk increases her reliance on her faith in combat, she reaches new level of fighting prowess. She can now deal 10% more damage with each hit while using Whirling Faith style.

Extended Whirling Faith

Monk now extends his understanding of fighting under the guidance of her faith even further. With each successful attack she now deals 10% additional damage with each hit.

Enhanced Whirling Faith

Enhanced understanding of Whirling Faith fighting style allows the monk to increase damage of her attacks by additional 10%.

Advanced Whirling Faith

Monk is now able to fully utilize her faith in combat. She now deals 20% more damage with her attacks while using Whirling Faith style.

Manifest Faith

As faith becomes the centerpiece of monk's life she always listens to it, whatever is she doing. Not only that. Her faith became so powerful that it can actually take physical substance. Monk is now able to manifest her faith physically in the form of shining quarterstaff. She can only do that while using Whirling Faith style and the staff becomes part of the style. As the staff is actually monk's faith manifested, it disappears as soon as it leaves monk's hands. Physical manifestation of faith is considerable drain on monk's magical reserves however, and even if monk can supply enough mana, the staff eventually disappears anyway. Monk uses her staff to beat the living crap out of her opponents, thereby changing damage type of her style to crush. It also increases damage a bit.

Improved Manifest Faith

Monk now has improved understanding of physical properties of her manifested faith. Whenever she manifests her faith in the form of staff the staff is more powerful as it now provides bonus to hitroll.

Extended Manifest Faith

As monk extends her understanding of intricacies of her faith she is able to prolong duration of her manifested faith by 50%. Not only that but she also reduces mana required to keep her faith manifested to one third.

Enhanced Manifest Faith

Monk now has improved understanding of physical properties of her manifested faith. Whenever she manifests her faith in the form of staff the staff is more powerful as it now provides bonus to additional strenth.

Advanced Manifest Faith

Monk's understanding of physical manifestation of her faith is now complete and when she does so the power of this manifestation is no longer fixed but grows with her as she gains levels.

Blast Of Faith

Not only can monk manifest her faith as useful battle tool but she can also use it as a channel to explosively discharge surge of faith she is experiencing. With Blast of Faith monk releases surge of faith of all types that are currently active and thus causes horrendous damage to the enemy. The more surges released the bigger bang, of course.

Improved Blast Of Faith

Monk can now channel her surge of faith in a better way, increasing damage dealt by Blast of Faith by 10%.

Extended Blast Of Faith

Monk is now able to put even more oomph in her Blast of Faith, increasing damage by further 20%.

Enhanced Blast Of Faith

When monk unleashes her faith in devastating blast, it discharges existing surges of faith but creates a new one instead. This new surge of faith briefly speeds up monk's other combat skills, allowing her to charge up for new blast sooner.

Advanced Blast Of Faith

When monk releases surges of faith via Blast of Faith, if there are more than one of them released, the surge with longest duration remanining won't be released completely but part of it would remain for a short while even after Blast of Faith.

Piercing Faith

Trying to focus on enemy and beat into bloody pulp is definitely fine idea. And monk use their faith to help them with it. They focus and imbue their manifested staff into even more deadly weapon which increase damage done of their skills while decrease damage done of the spells. This is not compatible with the harmony in faith.

Monk's faith is now so powerful it can actually burn. Monk can modify her manifested faith in such a way that the damage it deals is fire damage. Doing so causes additional drain on her mana reserves, however. Faith of Fire cannot be combined with skills that modify faith towards cold.

Monk is now better able to sustain the fire of her faith so she is able to reduce the additional drain caused by fire conversion to half.

It turns out, however, that she can actually internalize her burning faith in such a way as to draw heat from surrounding space, creating effectively effect of cold attacks. She can modify her manifested faith this way so thatit deals is actually cold damage. Doing so is not for free, however, as keeping this effect working drains her mana reserves. Faith of Ice cannot be combined with skills that modify faith towards fire.

Freezing Faith

Monk is able to modify the channel used to funnel outside heat into the faith that is burning brightly inside her in such a way that it occassionally widens significantly. This has basically the same effect as if cold weaponspell was embedded into her manifested faith. Freezing Faith cannot be combined with skills that modify faith towards fire.

Improved Freezing Faith

As monk's faith burns ever more strongly inside her, when she modifies the channel for draining heat from outside for temporary widenning, she can push this modification further. Each time it happens, it causes 10% more damage.

Extended Freezing Faith

Monk can now modify the channel for draining outside heat into her faith more effectively, increasing its stability and therefore doubling duration of this modification.

Enhanced Freezing Faith

Regenerating Faith

Monk can easily use her faith to replace vitality but that is not all. She can now also heal physical injuries through her faith. When she manifests her faith physically she can modify the manifestation in such a way that her faith closes some of her wounds as she beats her opponent with it.

Improved Regenerating Faith

Monk can now use her faith to heal herself more effectively. Each time her Regenerating Faith triggers it heals 20% more hitpoints.

Extended Regenerating Faith

Monk can now sustain her regenerating faith for longer. Each time she modifies her manifested faith for regeneration it lasts twice as long.

Enhanced Regenerating Faith

Monk is now able to use her faith for healing even more effectively, increasing health recovered each time it triggers by 20%.

Advanced Regenerating Faith

As faith is now principial part of monk's being she can now use it to replace lost health at incredible rate. Each time her Regenerating Faith triggers, it recovers additional 50% more health.

Doubleedged Faith

Normally monk uses both ends of her manifested faith during combat but only one end at single strike. With greater understanding of the flow of the energies to and from her faith she becomes able to strike with her quarterstaff in such a way that it actually triggers the weaponspell from both ends at once, one from the end that hit the enemy and the other from the other end when it flashes through the physical manifestation of her faith and hits the enemy, too. The other end is triggered for about 20% of the hits and each time it triggers it drains some mana from monk's reserves.

Improved Doubleedged Faith

Monk can now better connect both ends of her manifested faith, increasing chance to trigger both of them on weaponspell discharge to 50%.

Extended Doubleedged Faith

As the connection monk establishes between both ends of her manifested faith is now more stable, it lasts twice as long.

Enhanced Doubleedged Faith

The connection between both ends of monk's manifested faith is now more efficient so monk doesn't need that much mana to maintain it when it triggers. The additional mana requirement for triggering the connection drops to one half.

Advanced Doubleedged Faith

Both ends of monk's manifested faith are now fully connected so whenever one of them triggers a weaponspell, the other does so as well.

Harmony In Faith

Monk has reached total harmony of her faith. When she manifests her faith physically she can modify it so that it recovers her mana during combat. Each time her Harmony in Faith triggers she recovers 2 mana per effective level.

Improved Harmony In Faith

Monk is now able to feel harmony in her faith more strongly. Each time her Harmony In Faith triggers it recovers 10% more mana.

Extended Harmony In Faith

Each time monk modifies her manifested faith to experience harmony in faith, the modification last twice as long.

Enhanced Harmony In Faith

Monk is now in almost perfect harmony with her faith. Each time her Harmony In Faith triggers she recovers 10% more mana than before.

Advanced Harmony In Faith

Monk is now in perfect harmony with her faith. She doesn't need to eat, she doesn't need to drink. She doesn't feel fatigue if she doesn't want to and she can heal her injuries. And if she needs, she can even recover her mana through her faith. Each time her Harmony In Faith triggers, she recovers 20% more mana than before.

Penetrating Faith

The faith has no limits. And can take also different shapes. This skill is one of its shapes... It does not increase the damage of the spells, however the spells can hurt much more. Monk spells now penetrates part of enemy saving spell, which comes from level difference of the caster and victim. Of course if there is nothing to penetrate, then this does nothing.
