This spell connect your weapon to the powers of Underworld, embedding spell drain life into it as weaponspell. If it already has a weaponspell then it is replaced by drain life while infernal channel is active and it is restored when infernal channel is broken. The drain life spell from infernal channel goes partially through the Underworld which allows it to process life energy much more efficiently. This has the effect of ignoring half of victim\'s saving spell for purposes of life draining. It does not increase damage, though. Infernal channel lasts until it is removed with break infernal channel.
