When you get too much tired by using finesses, use this one to reduce your fatigue. You try to "relax" during the fight, to restore your power. Finesses cost move points and also increase fatigue which is more difficult to recover from, especially during combat. This becomes much more of a problem once you start using more powerful finesses. Enter Feather Step. With this finesse you don\'t focus on attack or defense so much but instead take a break from the heat of battle, in a sense, and recover big amount of fatigue and movepoints. This finesse can also be used as a follow-up after some combos to recover move and fatigue while keeping the battle rhythm introduced by that combo. Switching to Feather Steps finesse after completing Flying Slashes combo and following up the melee with Scissors Slash and Dual Slash completes Feather Slashes combo which still provides plenty of offensive bonuses but mainly recovers extra move and fatigue. Similarly, switching to Feather Steps after Howling Wasps combo and performing Wolf Tooth after melee completes Howling Feathers combo which has similar effects like Feather Slashes, just more suitable for piercing swords. Feather Steps finesse can also recover fatigue with defensive combos. When used after Wall of Blades combo and performing Scissors Slash after the melee round gives boost to move and fatigue recovery while keeping most of the defensive bonuses. This combo is called Wall of Feathers and it works the same way after Palisade of Blades, too. When defending from piercing attacks with Rapier Deflection it is possible to follow up with Feather Steps finesse and then single Scissors Slash after the melee round to complete Deflecting Feathers combo. This retains most of the defensive benefits of Rapier Deflection while increasing the recovery provided by this finesse.
