Sometimes even a swordsman\'s sword is out of position and best move is not with a sword. By mastering of this skill will swordsman learn, how to strike enemy with elbows. Striking without elbow protectors is dangerous. The damage is only half of normal and there is a risk of harm. On the other hand, striking with an elbow protector increases the base damage by 20% for each point of damroll the protector provides. But beware that using elbow protectors this way may damage them. Elbow Strike can be used in Gnashing Teeth combo. It starts with a round with Storm of Steel finesse followed by two Hornet Stings, then a round with Razor Tornado finesse and finally Elbow Strike to take distract the enemy before completing the combo with Wolf Tooth. When using slashing swords this skill can be used for Growl for Blood combo. This uses Flying Blade finesse in two consecutive rounds. After the first round you hit your enemy with Dual Slash and Eagle Talon and after the second round distract with Elbow Strike and finish the combo with Paw of the Bear. Because this skill doesn\'t require precise sword movements it is crucial for recovering fatigue by means of Moment of Tranquility combo. This combo starts with a round with Razor Tornado finesse followed by Elbow Strike and then next round in Feather Step finesse, completing the combo with another Elbow Strike. The second Elbow Strike can also be used as alternative first round of Thousand Stings combo, or, when followed by Dual Slash, for Flight of Eagles combo.
