Syntax:cast 'death ray' [<victim>] <amount>
Manacost:300
Damage:Depends on amount of hp invested

This spell creates tiny beam of energy that damages it\'s victim for about 50 hitpoints. It\'s main purpose is not to kill someone though... As you grow in power, you understand better and better the principles of life energy. It has enormous creative power that make all living things move, breath, feel... But also it has enormous destructive power. When this spell is succesfuly cast, it establishes sort of link to it\'s target. Skilled necromancer is able to use this link to send realy destructive wave of negative life energy through it. He has to draw it from the place where he has it under absolute control - from his own life energy. You must have someone to protect you to be able to concentrate enough to twist the polarity of your energy correctly and safely. Unfortunately, life energy regained from cleric spells cannot be channeled so effectively as your own, making the spell much weaker. As a sideeffect, this spell reduces victim\'s body resist a bit, making subsequent death rays more powerful and easier to succeed in. The true power of Death Ray comes into play if you invest at least 2800hp into it. In that case the base damage is 3700 + 20% of invested hp + 100dX where X is 6% of invested hitpoints. So with 5000hp invested into death ray the damage is 3700 + 20% of 5000 + 100d(6% of 5000) = 4700 + 100d300. At high legendary levels the necromancer can easily invest 10khp (or even more) into death ray, with 10k the damage goes to 6700 + 100d600.
