After facing numerous battles and witnessing indescribable horrors, fighters gradually developed sense of confidence based on their continual survival in tough battles. When fighter decides to boost his confidence, he sacrifices part of his damage output and hitpoint regeneration to increase resistance to fear-based attacks. Confident fighter is much harder to intimidate, both magically and non-magically.
