Various self-controling abilities allowed shaolins to withstand significant damage, but most those abilities were based on pushing body limits beyond usual tresholds. With Chakra Armor shaolins use their life force, their chakra, to block incoming damage. However, to use this skill shaolin must draw energy from his mana reserves. Similarly as with Zen Armor, when there is no mana to draw from, shaolin\'s body cannot withstand the strain and continuing efforts to hold Chakra Armor cause increased damage instead of diminishing it, so it is vital to keep an eye on your mana reserve and drop your Chakra Armor before you run out of mana. Chakra armor focuses the shaolin on defense, reducing all damage dealt by 10%.
